Thomson Reuters Vice President of Technology - Productivity, Research & e-Discovery Solutions [ 2014 to Present ]
  • Infused cognitive capabilities and analytics into legal research by leading the technology team which delivered the 2018 launch of the company’s biggest product of the year (Westlaw Edge) which has brought in millions of new revenue.
  • Launched the company’s first e-discovery solution (eDiscoveryPoint) in close partnership with global product and marketing teams. Crafted a differentiating product strategy, created and secured approval of the business case, executed the technology build and contributed to “go to market” launch success with key customers.
  • Reduced annual costs by over 35% while maintaining throughput and quality, by simultaneously consolidating development into fewer, more efficiently scaled talent centers, while driving significant work to Eastern Europe.
  • Proposed and piloted innovative cloud-based approaches, which dramatically simplified and reduced development time and effort of a law firm productivity product (FirmCentral), by harnessing the capabilities of Microsoft’s Azure.
  • Crafted a global product unification strategy leveraging the findings of the Azure pilot that will result in a single global product solution for individual products in each geography.   • Provided technology leadership over a large and complex portfolio of customer facing products spanning multiple segments of the company’s Legal division resulting in operational stability and timely product launches of large scale online legal research products, productivity solutions for lawyers in small law firms and corporate counsels, software for government agencies and public records (suspicious behavior detection) products.
